Edelen Renewables Emergent Climate Leaders
Berea College Internship Program
Edelen Renewables is the global leader in coal-to-solar renewable energy and solar development. Based in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, our team is focused on bringing the promise of renewable energy to the forgotten places of America. Whether it’s convening coal companies together with green energy advocates, developing abandoned mine lands to create employment for displaced coal miners, or spearheading the Farmers Powering Communities agrivoltaics and community solar initiative, these are the hallmarks of our trademarked Social Impact Solar approach.
From acquiring land, facilitating public engagement and incentives, shepherding projects through regulatory processes, to securing corporate off-take agreements (VPPAs), these are the boots-on-the-ground services we deploy to produce tangible results for communities across America.
We are seeking a handful of committed and interested Berea College students to help us launch the Edelen Renewables Emergent Climate Leaders Internship program.
